Event Details

Established by successful businessman Albert C. Barnes in 1922,  The Barnes Foundation is home to one of the world's largest collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and early Modern paintings, as well as important examples of African sculpture.

An extraordinary number of masterpieces by Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse provide a depth of work by these artists unavailable elsewhere and for just one evening...this legendary gallery will be exclusively opened for Council volunteers and their guests.

Join us on Thursday, March 18 for a networking reception of cocktails and hors d'œuvres in The Barnes Foundation Library, to be followed by tours for those interested in exploring this magnificent Philadelphia treasure.

 

Reservations required.  Deadline to register is Monday, March 8.  Registration is required and space is limited.  Each Arts & Business Council volunteers is limited to one guest.
